Archival paper, wood, glass.
Inspired by a passionfruit vine that grew near where I used to live. These strange looking flowers would appear every spring, filling their vines and spilling out onto the footpath where I would occasionally snip and carry one home. This artwork is cut by hand from archival paper and framed in floating wood, ready to pop against dark walls or cast subtle shadows on white.
Framed: 34cm x 28cm.
Please note, each paper cut is unique and lovingly made by hand. Imperfections do occur and these enhance the beauty of the paper cut, making it one of a kind.
